Traveler's Purgatory

Thinking all our travel woes were complete, we finally arrived at the Bali airport!!! We were escorted, Anders in a broken wheelchair with seat missing and Lori in tow, into the main customs room, where many passengers were anxiously milling around with a look of bewilderment. We then observed all the passengers turning and running with excitement to a particular customs agent, then sorrowfully being turned away back to their former state of wait. After our attempt to clear customs, we soon learned what the mad dash was all about. We termed this ‘Travelers Purgatory’ and had to join the crowd… we couldn’t get back on the plane which had already left and couldn’t enter the country because they ran out of the correct forms. =(

They didn’t seem to know what to do with this large group of people. Judging by the expressions of the customs agent's faces, it seemed as if we were the first flight to have ever arrived at the airport. Luckily, the printing office was open, and we made it though after a very long trip. Sigh.

We had a funny interview clip to insert, but was accidentally deleted, so you'll just have to live with the picture, instead.
